The Tennessee Titans' 34-31 home win over the Buffalo Bills Monday night came at a high price for Mike Vrabel's team. While the victory certainly restores the respect the Titans lost in their loss at the hands of the New York Jets in Week 4 on the road, Tennessee is now dealing with injuries to two of their most crucial pieces in wide receiver Julio Jones and left tackle Taylor Lewan.

Jones, who missed Weeks 4 and 5 because of a hamstring issue, was not able to finish the Bills game, as he exited just before the fourth quarter because of the same lower-body problem. Via Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network:

Brutal injury night for Tennessee: #Titans WR Julio Jones was ruled out with a hamstring injury.

Meanwhile, Lewan was carted off the field because of a head injury, possibly a concussion. Lewan's injury looked scary and seems like one that would require him to miss multiple games, though no official timetable of return has been released, as of this writing. Fortunately for the veteran offensive lineman, he “has movement in all his extremities” according to Jim Wyatt.

A scenario where both Jones and Lewan will not be available to play in Week 7 will be a punch to the gut of the Titans, as they might need all hands on deck to keep up with the high-flying offense of Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs at home.
