The Tennessee Titans have fallen back down to earth over the past couple of weeks. After starting the season with five straight wins, Tennessee has since suffered back-to-back defeats — something that star QB Ryan Tannehill has recently expressed some frustration with.

Tannehill admitted that the entire squad have been disappointed by how they've performed over the past couple of weeks, but the one-time Pro-Bowler also expressed how he believes that there's no one to blame but themselves:

“Everyone’s frustrated; we’re just not coming out and performing the way we expect to,” Tannehill said, via the Tennessean (h/t Michael David Smith of NBC Sports). “But at the end of the day we have no one to look to but ourselves”.

The Titans' losing skid started with a hard-fought defeat against the Pittsburgh Steelers, which they followed up with a shocking loss at the hands of the Cincinnati Bengals. Tennessee get the Chicago Bears on Sunday, which Tannehill himself sees as an opportunity to bounce back:

“We have a really good team coming to town this week and we’ve got to play good football,” he said. “We have a lot to clean up on. We haven’t performed up to our standards offensively, especially last week.”

Now at 5-2, the Titans are currently tied with the Indianapolis Colts for the top spot in the AFC South. The Colts have logged back-to-back wins, and there's no denying that the momentum is currently on their side. There's still a long way to go this season, though, so Tennessee has more than enough time to reemerge as a top team in the NFL.
