Stephen Gostkowski has played for one team in his first 14 years in the NFL, but he'll be putting on a new uniform in 2020. After signing with the Tennessee Titans, Gostkowski spoke about his ‘fresh start' with Tennessee this season.

“It feels weird, but it is also kind of a cool feeling — fresh start, start over. I feel like a rookie again,” Gostkowski said, via the team’s website. “I have to meet everybody, I have to find out where I fit on this team. I have to prove myself to this team. Whatever I have done or haven’t done in the past really doesn’t mean anything for this team. Maybe some of the young guys say: ‘I used to play with you on Madden’, but other that that. I am excited to go out there and have to prove myself to these guys, and prove that I am worthy to be a Titan.”

Before finalizing a one-year deal with the Titans, Gostkowski was a record-setting kicker for the New England Patriots. In his 14 seasons with New England, Gostkowski made 87.4 percent of his field-goal attempts.

He would also convert 98.3 percent of his extra-point tries during his time with the Patriots. Above all, he now remains as New England's all-time leading scorer, even ahead of Adam Vinatieri.

The veteran kicker turned 36 years old this year and gets to play close to home in Tennessee. Despite being a reliable kicker for nearly a decade and a half with the Patriots, Gostkowski feels like a rookie entering his first year with the Titans.
