Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry Made history with his spectacular 99-yard rumble versus the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday. However, former NFL player Willie McGinest is not ready to declare it the greatest run of all time.

There has been plenty of debate regarding where Henry's run sits in the annals of NFL history. McGinest feels Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch still holds that distinction, via TMZ Sports:

“I would say it's ONE of my top runs.”

“That's why we started calling them the ‘Beast Mode Runs,' 'cause of Lynch against the Saints. And then, I think he had another one against Arizona, so.”

There is certainly plenty of truth to McGinest's comments. Lynch's Beast Quake against the New Orleans Saints all those years ago was undoubtedly hailed as the greatest run of all time. Not only did he managed to break off every defender on the field, but it occurred during a crucial moment in the playoffs. As a result, the consensus has largely sided with Lynch.

Regardless, there is no denying that Henry's run was the most impressive in recent years. He tied Hall of Famer Tony Dorsett's record for the longest touchdown in spectacular fashion with three devastating stiff arms that left Jaguars defenders lying on the field. More importantly, he has reminded Tennessee of what he is capable of.

The Titans back was poised to become the workhorse coming into the 2018 campaign. However, he has largely been outshined by running back Dion Lewis and had been in the midst of an underwhelming season up to that point. However, it is safe to assume his historic run will garner him some more touches down the final stretch of the season.
