According to a recent report from Chris Mortensen of ESPN, the Tennessee Titans remain primed to retain former Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill this offseason. Despite Tannehill slated to technically become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, it appears as though the former Dolphins signal-caller won't be going anywhere anytime soon.

“I checked in with a source yesterday who said succinctly he is not leaving the Titans,” Mortensen said on Sunday morning’s ESPN NFL Countdown, via USA TODAY Sports.

After serving as the Dolphins franchise quarterback for the majority of his NFL career, Tannehill encountered some injury-plagued and relatively unimpressive seasons in Miami before ultimately being dealt to Tennessee last offseason. With a few NFL Draft picks going back to Miami in exchange for Tannehill's services, the veteran quarterback proved all of the doubters wrong in the end as he helped lead the Titans to an appearance in the AFC Championship Game. Not only that, but Tannehill and company defeated both the heralded New England Patriots, and No. 1 seeded Baltimore Ravens in the playoffs.
