Former NFL head coach Dennis Green became a meme before memes were even a thing. The former leader of the Arizona Cardinals famously told reporters at a postgame press conference that “they were who we thought they were” en route to becoming enshrined in NFL folklore forever. On Sunday afternoon, Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker took a page out of Green's book while delivering the famous quote following his team's blowout victory over the Cleveland Browns.

Leading to the interview that brought the football world the second coming of Green's one-liner, Walker and the Titans notably defeated the Browns, 43-13, on the road in Cleveland on Sunday afternoon.

However, unlike Green and company way back when Walker and the Titans certainly did not let anyone off the hook — especially the Browns.

Despite the fact that the Titans finished the last three seasons at 9-7, the Browns entered play on Sunday afternoon as decently heavy favorites at -5.5. Granted the game was being played in Cleveland with the Browns acquiring several notable players this past offseason, but the Titans really derailed this hype train before it even really got underway.

Walker contributed in a big way as well while catching not one, but two touchdown passes from Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota. With Cleveland unable to contain Walker for the better part of the afternoon outing, the veteran tight end did not mince his words during his eventual postgame press conference. It is also worth noting that Walker entered the game with a massive chip on his shoulder as he appeared in only one game last season due to a season-ending Achilles injury suffered in Week 1.
