Despite falling only one game short of reaching Super Bowl LIV, the Tennessee Titans and Pro Bowl running back Derrick Henry surprised just about everyone in the football universe in 2019-2020. Even though the Titans were unable to overcome the surging Kansas City Chiefs as a result of Sunday afternoon's AFC Championship Game at Arrowhead Stadium, Henry and company certainly have a ton to be proud of this time around.

As one could imagine, the Titans' loss to the Chiefs led to a very emotional reaction from Henry during his postgame press conference.

Even with missing one regular-season game, which came late in the year in Week 16 against the talented New Orleans Saints, Henry notably led the entire NFL in rushing yards this season. After producing a whopping 1,540 yards and 16 touchdowns over the course of 15 regular-season appearances for the Titans, Henry then really ramped things up during the postseason as the former Alabama Crimson Tide running back absolutely dismantled both the heralded New England Patriots and No. 1 seeded Baltimore Ravens.

Spending his entire NFL playing career as a member of the Titans, the former second-round pick in Derrick Henry has now reached the postseason on two separate occasions with Tennessee. With the Titans producing four consecutive 9-7 regular-season efforts en route to reaching the playoffs twice during that span, Henry has helped lead the AFC South franchise to at least one win each time — with two huge road wins highlighting his efforts this season.

The Chiefs will now take on either the Green Bay Packers or San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV in two weeks.
