Kevin Byard is showing why the Tennessee Titans made him the highest-paid safety in NFL history over the offseason (five years, $71 million). He is a playmaker.

In the third quarter of Tennessee's Week 6 tilt with the Denver Broncos, Byard made a wild play: an interception off of an underthrown Joe Flacco pass intended for tight end Noah Fant, that bounced off of the rookie tight end's back into Byard's outstretched arms.

What a play by Byard. The safety took advantage of Fant's rookie mistake and, frankly, poor communication with Flacco by snatching the ball from Fant's back as if it were intended to go to him the entire time.

Though Byard got the highlight-worthy interception, his offense couldn't take advantage of it. After two Derrick Henry runs and a Marcus Mariota to A.J. Brown incompletion, the Titans punted the ball back to the Broncos offense.
