Tom Brady was brilliant once again on Sunday, and Rob Gronkowski made Patriots history with his 69th career touchdown. But, the most memorable moment of their game against the Bills didn't involve the players.

As the Patriots drove toward a score late in the third quarter, a sex toy was thrown from the stands onto the field of play, just a few feet away from New England receiver Chris Hogan.

Here's how the CBS commentators broke it down, transcribed by TheScore's David P. Woods:

Dan Fouts: Some fan threw something right onto the field at about the 1-yard line.

Ian Eagle: Initially I thought it might have been a flag but I didn't say it because it didn't look yellow. So they discarded that, and it's now second and goal. Well, it definitely wasn't a flag.

After the game, a victorious Brady was asked to share his thoughts on the rather unusual moment. He was amused, especially with the manner in which the official discarded of the toy, as you can see in the video above.

From Tyler Sullivan of 247sports.com:

“I did see it, yes I did,” said Brady on Monday morning during his radio interview with WEEI's Kirk and Callahan. “I thought it was funny the ref didn't want to pick it up. … only in Buffalo.”
