Tom Brady is one of the greatest NFL players of all-time, and he showcased his confidence after Tyreek Hill ran in a clutch fourth quarter touchdown. Hill's touchdown in the closing minutes gave the Kansas City Chiefs the lead, and it could've marked the close of an impressive comeback win. However, Tom Brady shines in moments like these. His efficient two-minute drill secured a win for the Patriots. Rather than being worried about his team's deficit, he was glad the Chiefs left time on the clock for him to work.

“Yeah, you know, we had confidence,” Brady told NBC Sports. “I think, I’m glad when he was running – Tyreek was running to score – I said, ‘Good, score quick.’ Because then we had enough time. They had one timeout left, and it gave us a little time to go down and kick the field goal.”

The Patriots won 43-40, and the game was every bit of the exciting shootout it was advertised to be. Tyreek Hill scorched the Patriots with seven receptions for 142 yards and three touchdowns, but in the end, the experience of the opposition was triumphant.

“You know, I still think we missed some opportunities out there, but made some situational plays when we needed it, the short-yardages – you know, we really lost the game last year on some short yardages, and I thought we were pretty good in it tonight. So, that was a real positive,” Brady continued.

The Patriots avenged the season opening loss the suffered to the Chiefs last season. The managed to put a blemish on their record this time around, forcing them to drop to 5-1. Brady marked his 200th career regular season win. Things looked grim for the Patriots in the beginning of this season, but all the pieces are starting to come together now.
