It's been a rather dismal campaign for Antonio Conte's Tottenham, but Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son injected some life into their side on Saturday with a vital 4-0 shellacking of Leeds at Elland Road.

Both players found the scoresheet, with Kane assisting Son's goal and vice versa. In the process, the Tottenham duo made Premier League history, taking their tally to 37 goal involvements. That put them above Chelsea legends Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba, who previously held the record with 36.

Quite the honor and proves just how special of a partnership these two Spurs stars truly have. However, despite combining for 18 goals and five assists this term, Tottenham is still struggling. They're currently sitting in seventh spot in the EPL table after grabbing a much-needed three points.

They're also not even competing in any European football after being eliminated from the Europa Conference League. Conte has made it clear that his squad needs more reinforcements in order to contend with the big guns in the English top-flight, despite bringing in the likes of Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentacur in January from Juve. The Swede has made an immediate impact in North London, netting against Leeds and already scoring twice and laying on an assist in a massive victory over league leaders Man City last weekend.

Nevertheless, Tottenham has a lethal strike duo up top in Kane and Son. They simply need to strengthen their club in essentially every other area.
