The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are hoping to get back in the win column in Week 10 against the Carolina Panthers, but they may be a bit out of sorts after Saturday night's events.

While the Panthers host the Buccaneers, Tampa Bay went through an incident with their team plane on Saturday night, which could affect them with an early game on Sunday.

According to ESPN's Jenna Laine, the Buccaneers were scheduled to board their flight to Charlotte, North Carolina at 2:25 p.m. ET on Saturday. The plane was originally slated to land at 3:55 p.m. ET time, giving them a day to prepare for Sunday's game.

However, due to mechanical issues to their plane, the Buccaneers would undergo a massive delay for their flight. As a matter of fact, Tampa Bay would have a delay that lasted slightly more than seven hours.

During their delay, the Buccaneers would conduct team meetings at the airport and ate meals while they were waiting to board the plane. In the end, Tampa Bay would finally begin their trip to Charlotte a little after 10 p.m. ET and they landed at their destination at 11:27 p.m. ET.

Of course, with the Buccaneers set to kick off on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET, the long delay could negatively impact Tampa Bay. But it's safe to say that Bruce Arians won't want to use that as an excuse.

Last week, the Buccaneers were embarrassed on Sunday Night Football as the New Orleans Saints trounced them 38-3. With Tampa Bay hoping to put their latest loss behind them, they may not have had much time to even sleep ahead of their tilt with the Panthers.
