The Houston Rockets suffered a humiliating loss at the hands of the San Antonio Spurs when the final buzzer sounded in Game 6.

However, that wasn't the only problem for the Rockets who were already faced with the challenge of motivating fans to arrive at home games on time. Their first attempt at this was to offer beer for a limited window before the game for only $1.

Ideally, supporting the home team during the postseason is enough reason to fill the arena early ready for a battle. The beer apparently wasn't a good enough incentive alone so the Rockets tried another tactic.

A cross-town showdown and potential elimination games are always attractive lures to get fans in the seats, and if that wasn't enough the Rockets invited rapper and former team ball boy Travis Scott for a free pre-show performance.

Scott had been behind the team for the postseason and tweeted out t-shirts he designed with the team's ‘Run as One' mantra on the front specifically for Game 6.

Beer, shirts, music, and a game sound like a day of fun most would not pass up, except in Houston. Rockets fans barely showed up leaving Scott to perform in front of thousands of empty seats just before the Rockets fell apart to the short-handed Spurs squad.

It looks like the Rockets mantra of Run as One even extended to not showing up altogether. Ouch.
