The odds looked to be in the Houston Rockets‘ favor hours before Game 6 of their second-round matchup against the San Antonio Spurs. After all, they were playing on their home court, Kawhi Leonard wasn't going to play due to an injury, and the same can be said of Tony Parker who is out for the rest of the postseason.
However, the complete opposite of their expectation happened as the Rockets were simply dominated by the Spurs, losing in a blowout 114-75.
Things were ugly right from the start for the Rockets. They kept turning the ball over and their All-Star, James Harden struggled offensively. The Spurs meanwhile, just played flawless basketball. LaMarcus Aldridge shook out his funk to have a big game and the rest of the Spurs flawlessly executed on both ends of the court to beat the Rockets.
The Spurs now advance to the Western Conference Finals to play the Golden State Warriors. That series starts on Sunday.
Houston's season however, is now over, which is somewhat surprising since Harden had been sensational all year. And since the Rockets lost by double digits and Harden played so poorly, the internet just roasted Houston on Twitter.
