The Minnesota Timberwolves blew the doors off of the Denver Nuggets Wednesday night. In the win, TWolves small forward Anthony Edwards dropped 38 points and made some history in the process.

Edwards sank a career-high 10 three-pointers in the blowout win. He became the youngest player in NBA history to sink 10 three's in a game. With just under two minutes remaining in the game, Edwards decided it was a good time to sign a basketball for a fan.

The game might have theoretically been decided, but with time left on the clock, signing autographs appears to dig the dagger in a bit deeper. The win ended a 12-game losing streak for Minnesota against their rocky mountain rivals.

Anthony Edwards is in the midst of a breakout season with the TWolves. He is averaging almost 22 points per game, to go along with just under six rebounds and four assists. He has also been a defensive maven this season, swiping almost two steals per game.

Minnesota drafted Edwards with the first overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft out of Georgia. He is beginning to live up to that hype and has taken a clear step in year two of his career. Alongside Karl-Anthony Towns and D'Angelo Russell, the three of them make up a formidable trio.

Towns and Russell are just entering the prime's of their respective careers at age 26 and 25, respectively. Edwards however has only scratched the surface. The youngster just turned 20-years-old this past August.

With the right team around them, the Minnesota TWolves might be able to make some noise in the years to come.
