The Seattle Seahawks have been firing on all cylinders in the early stages of the season thanks to their quarterback Russell Wilson and his chemistry with his offensive weapons. Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett has been a major contributor in their scoring attack, mainly due to his spectacular toe-drag touchdowns.

He made it to the highlight reel once again in their Week 7 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, as seen in a Twitter post by the team.

The former Kansas State product also shed light on how players feel whenever they make one of those highlight plays during games:

ā€œThere's times where we might practice it,ā€ Lockett said of those toe-dragging catches, ā€œbut honestly I think it just ends up happening. There's times where we don't even know how we did it. All we can say is, ā€˜That's God.' We don't know. But I think what you've seen this year is even David [Moore], he's made so many spectacular toe-drags. We always talk about it and we just talk about how we just try to make plays and sometimes those are the plays that you're looking at the ref trying to figure out how did it even happen.ā€

Lockett seems to make these catches look easy even with a tough cornerback matchup. In their most recent encounter against the Cardinals, he was tightly covered by All-Pro cornerback Patrick Peterson on the game's opening play where he ended up finishing with a toe-drag touchdown score for his team.

Despite the good start, the Seahawks failed to manufacture a win against their surging counterparts to which they lost on a nail-biting 37-34 outcome in overtime and gave them their first loss of the season.

Football fans should expect more toe-drag touchdowns from the sixth-year receiver as the season progresses. Lockett and the rest of the Seahawks will aim to get back to their winning ways in Week 8 against the San Francisco 49ers.
