Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase had undeniably one of the greatest rookie seasons for any receiver in NFL history this year. He apparently even impressed “The Cheetah,” Tyreek Hill.

The Kansas City star wideout took to Twitter to share his thoughts.

Chase roasted cornerbacks all year, finishing the regular season with 1,455 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns. That was fourth and third respectively in the league. His 18 yards per catch also ranked as second best in the NFL.

Chase didn't slow down in the postseason either. He caught 25 more balls for 368 yards in the playoffs. That includes burning All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsay in Super Bowl LVI for a 46-yard gain on a sick one-handed catch. Chase finished the Super Bowl with five catches for 89 yards. On the final drive, he torched Ramsey again for a 17-yard catch and run, but the Bengals fell just short losing 23-20.

Clearly, Hill doesn't believe the question even needs to be asked. But there certainly are a couple others out there who could have an argument. Randy Moss scored 17 touchdowns in his rookie season with the Minnesota Vikings. That helped propel them to a 15-1 record.

Fellow Viking Justin Jefferson also had a spectacular rookie season just one year prior to Chase. He finished with 1,400 yards himself.

But there is little doubt that Chase is an incredible player who is only beginning. He took home Offensive Rookie of the Year and will likely win many more awards.
