Tyson Chandler has not resumed any basketball activities since the passing of his mother earlier this week, and it appears that won't end anytime soon.

The Phoenix Suns big man has taken a leave of absence after missing the last two games to grieve with his family and friends.

The Suns released a statement on Wednesday on their social media platforms along with informing fans that Chandler would not be rejoining the team.

In his absence, the team will utilize Alex Len and Dragan Bender to fill the gaps until Chandler.
