The No. 11 seeded UCLA Bruins are seeking to continue their Cinderella run as they successfully booked their ticket to the Final Four. However, it won't be an easy road ahead as they are currently tagged as clear underdogs upon facing the No. 1 seeded Gonzaga Bulldogs. In fact, even calling them underdogs feels like an understatement.

As per SportsBetting.com, the Bruins hold a +13.5 disadvantage in betting odds which is the largest spread in Final Four history thus far.

On Tuesday night, Bruins head coach Mike Cronin and his men had to overcome a tough opponent in the Michigan Wolverines in their Elite Eight matchup. UCLA managed to make it a close encounter despite being the less talented team as compared to their heavily-favored opponents.

Bruins guard Johnny Juzang exploded for 28 points to overcome the team effort of the Wolverines as they held onto a 51-49 upset victory to march into the Final Four.

Awaiting them are the loaded Gonzaga Bulldogs who have yet to taste defeat in the 2020-21 season. Contrary to the Bruins, the team had an easier path as they dominated the No. 6 seeded USC Trojans in their Elite Eight tilt. The offensive production of Drew Timme, Jalen Suggs, and Corey Krispert allowed the Bulldogs to cruise to an 85-66 win to advance to the next round.

Huge odds may be stacked against the Bruins but they can definitely pull off another impressive upset only if they come out with their A-game, similar to how they emerged victorious against the Wolverines. The team will certainly make history if they manage to exceed expectations and eliminate the Bulldogs who are also hungry to prove themselves as a top-ranked team in the tournament.
