Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem both joined the Miami Heat prior to the 2003-04 NBA season where they have won three championships together. While Wade signed with the Chicago Bulls last season, Haslem recently re-signed on a one-year deal this offseason.

Although signing with the Bulls marked a return home for Wade, the roster has dramatically changed following the Jimmy Butler trade. As a result, the Bulls are expected to buy out the 35-year-old and embrace a full rebuild. With Wade being linked to numerous teams, Haslem would love to have him back according to Tom D'Angelo of Palm Beach Post:

“I would love to have him back, everybody knows that,” Haslem said. “Not only is he a great competitor, great teammate I learned a lot from but also a friend of mine, I consider him a brother.

Haslem shares both players talked about finishing their careers together:

We talked about finishing our careers together,” Haslem said. “We really want it to be the case. Plans change. So if it doesn’t happen it doesn’t put any strain on our relationship but it’s still a goal of mine. Hopefully we can end it that way.”

In addition to the Heat, Wade has been linked with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. While all teams are chasing the defending champion Golden State Warriors, the Cavaliers would provide him with a better opportunity to reach his fifth NBA Finals appearance.

After Wade left Miami, the Heat exceeded expectations and nearly made the playoffs. With Hassan Whiteside and Goran Dragic leading the way, the Heat re-signed numerous role players and could use the 12-time All-Star's experience at this stage of his career.
