Conor McGregor has yet to line up his next fight in the UFC. But, it's clear one fighter wants to be his next opponent.

No. 5 ranked Michael Chandler doubled down on his desire to get in the Octagon with McGregor and it appears even Dana White also likes the idea as he previously said earlier this week.

Via TMZ Sports:

“Obviously, there's a lot of big UFC fights that Conor could take. A lot of big names, and I'd love to be the other guy on the other side of the Octagon when that cage door closes, and then go out there and make something special,” Chandler said.

Chandler is coming off a crushing loss as he was knocked out by Tony Ferguson at UFC 274. It's getting about near that time McGregor fights again and the 36-year-old could be the perfect opponent. However, there is no hate from Chandler's corner. He fully respects Conor and believes he's one of the greatest to ever do it:

“We may never see another talent, another combat sport like Conor McGregor, and not just until when I retire, we're talking about the next couple of decades.”
