The main event on the UFC 260 card lived up to the hype on Saturday night when Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou faced off in the Octagon. Both fighters came out ready to attack, but it was Ngannou who got the better of Miocic, knocking him out in the second round.
As the fight moved along, it slowly become very one-sided in favor of Ngannou, who was landing strike after strike before finishing off Miocic. Ngannou's story to get to where he's at is an incredible one. And his hometown of Batie, Cameroon celebrated in a big way:

That'll make the hair on the back of your neck stand up. What a surreal moment as pure controlled chaos broke out after Ngannou knocked out Miocic. Ngannou becomes the UFC Heavyweight Champion to make his hometown proud. His rise in the ranks of the UFC is an unpredictable one given where it all started for Ngannou. His story provides hope to others from his hometown and his home country.
Having won the belt, Ngannou now becomes the fight everyone wants in the heavyweight division. Many have already speculated who could be next, and Ngannou didn't hide from any of it after the fight:

As far as what's next for Miocic, that remains unknown. The series with Ngannou sits at 1-1 now, but given how dominant Ngannou was on Saturday, a trilogy fight is questionable. A fight against Jon Jones would make more sense for Francis. For now, everyone in Cameroon can celebrate and live it up.
