The UFC is unlikely to make a swoop for top free agent and former PFL champion Kayla Harrison.

Shortly after parting ways with the PFL, Kayla Harrison has become one of the biggest draws in the free agency market. As expected, top-tier MMA promotions such as UFC is being linked to the unbeaten champ.

However, it has become apparent that the UFC will not be pushing hard for the signing of Harrison, per famed MMA journalist Ariel Helwani.

According to the report, the UFC is not willing to match Harrison's hefty price tag at least at the moment.

Bellator is another ideal landing spot for Harrison and just recently, the promotion's president Scott Coker had already revealed their stance on the subject.

Coker confirmed that Bellator is indeed interested in bringing in Harrison, He also hinted at the strong possibility that talks between his reps and the Olympic gold medalist will be on their way.

“I think that we would love to have, you know, a bigger conversation and see if we can come to some type of arrangement,” Coker said of the possibility of signing Harrison. “I mean, listen, it’s not just Kayla, but it’s really any free agent that’s out there that’s at that world-class level, you know, that we feel could add value to the company. We want to go sign them.”

“I think she just became a free agent recently,” he added. “So I think that I think she’s coming to the fight tomorrow with Dan Lambert and (Bellator fighter) (Kyoji) Horiguchi is going to be here, so that’ll be fun. So I think they’re all going to sit together and then, you know, we’ll say hello and start having a dialogue.”
