The Los Angeles Lakers are finally moving forward. After a few years waiting for legend Kobe Bryant‘s retirement, they are looking for a fresh new start.
The team added a few veterans to their young core such as Timofey Mozgov and Luol Deng to help balance the roster.
They have taken steps in the right direction, building from the draft, developing their own players, and signing a new coach to steer the reigns. The team is clearly not tanking, and wants to build and compete.
But that doesn't mean everyone is on the hype train this upcoming season. Although the team has some talented players, that will only take them so far.
According to Las Vegas oddsmaker Super Book, the Lakers are projected to win 24 games next season.
The prediction of 24 games would place the team to have the second worse record in the league next season.
