The New Orleans Pelicans are rounding into form heading into the conclusion of the regular season. They need to be just that considering that they are fighting for playoff security in the dog-eat-dog world of the Western Conference. On Saturday, the Pelicans sustained their late-season steam with a 126-120 road win over the Golden State Warriors, thanks in large part to the impressive performance of Anthony Davis.

Davis finished the game with a team-high 34 points on 13-for-24 shooting from the field to go with 12 rebounds, four assists, two steals, and four blocks in 40 minutes of action. Davis, however, did not just provide the numbers for the Pellies, he also gave his team this monster alley-oop jam off a Rajon Rondo pass from near the half-court line in the third period of the game.

This is just among the latest of the seemingly countless crazy plays Anthony Davis has pulled off this season. Just the other day, he converted a wayward pass from E'Twaun Moore into a monster alley-oop slam dunk.

Rajon Rondo also had a terrific outing in Oakland, as he had 12 points and 17 dimes.

With the win against Golden State, Davis and the Pelicans are now fifth in the conference with a 46-34 record. New Orleans can secure a playoff spot this Monday if they beat the L.A. Clippers at home.
