It has been a trying 2017-18 NBA season for the L.A. Clippers thus far. Following their disastrous nine-game losing streak, the Clippers managed to win three straight before falling back into the loss column with their 126-107 defeat at the hands of the Utah Jazz.

It is evident that their fluctuating performance has begun to take its toll early on in the year. That frustration seemingly boiled over late in the fourth quarter when guard Austin Rivers had some choice words for a fan sitting courtside:

Although it is unclear as to what exactly Austin said, it is safe to assume he was likely warning the fan to choose his words a bit more carefully.

L.A. was in the fight through the whole game up until the fourth quarter, where they only managed to score a mere 20 points. Although it was not a good night for the Clippers as a whole, Austin enjoyed himself a strong performance with a game-high 25 points on an efficient 9-of-16 shooting to go along with six assists.

The Clippers have been decimated by key injuries all year long and as a result, have handed down increased roles for nearly every player on the roster. However, the only other consistent performer so far has been guard Lou Williams, who was unable to find his rhythm tonight with 20 points on 6-of-14 shooting. Needless to say, Austin's frustration at this juncture of the season is certainly understandable.
