Zach LaVine lifted the Chicago Bulls to an extra session against the Indiana Pacers on Friday night at the United Center courtesy of a deep three-pointer from the left wing.

The Bulls ended up losing in overtime by a final score of 119-116, but Zach LaVine continues to show he is all the way back from the ACL tear he suffered with the Minnesota Timberwolves a few years ago.

LaVine entered Friday averaging 23.3 points per game, first on the Bulls. Chicago has been a walking disaster this season, but LaVine has been one bright spot alongside second-year power forward Lauri Markkanen.

LaVine finished with 31 points in 35 minutes against the Pacers. There were a lot of people over the summer who were upset that the Bulls matched the Sacramento Kings' offer sheet for LaVine. Boy, have those pundits looked really bad so far this season.

In a rebuild season, LaVine is the one player that excites Bulls fans with his shot making, scoring and high-flying dunks. Plus, the $78 million deal he signed will start to look a lot better in a few years because the NBA salary cap is going to continue to rise.

Maybe even next season, LaVine might be on a nice deal with the Bulls considering other players are going to be getting lucrative deals.

With the loss, LaVine and the Bulls dropped to 10-29 on the year.
