Highlight clips of Oklahoma City Thunder guard Chris Paul dunking the basketball have been few and far between throughout his stellar 15-year NBA career. CP3, however, recently reminded fans that he could still throw it down with authority even at the ripe age of  35.

Much like his fellow NBA contemporaries, the 10-time All-Star has been working hard in the gym especially since the league confirmed a December 22 start of the 2020-21 campaign.

Paul showcased that there's still some spring left on those veteran legs, as he casually caught his own lob and finished with a two-handed jam. The 6-foot-1 guard made sure to hang onto the rim for a split second just for good measure.

Chris Paul certainly silenced his critics last year who claimed that his best years were already behind him. He guided the youth-laden OKC squad to the 5th seed in the stacked Western Conference (44-28) and pushed the heavily-favored Houston Rockets to the brink in the first round.

Paul shrugged off a slow start in 2019-20 and delivered with 17.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 6.7 assists, and 1.6 steals in 70 games. He knocked down 48.9 percent of his field goals and 36.5 percent of his treys.

Nowadays, CP3 usually saves his legs in-game and only brings out the high-flying acts for special occasions like this two-handed alley-oop in the 2020 All-Star game. The 4-time All-NBA First Team member is usually on the giving end of such highlights, and it's nice to see him be on the other end for a change.

Paul is a wanted man this offseason following rumors that the Thunder will be open to trading him for the right price. While CP3's dunk was made in an empty gym, this should be indicative that Paul does have a lot left in the tank.
