Placekicker Greg Zuerlein of the Dallas Cowboys crushed a 59-yard field goal to give his team a 9-7 lead to close out the first half against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Peep Zuerlein's amazing field goal below. Even the commentators were surprised that it was good. But they recalled that Zuerlein did guide the Los Angeles Rams into the Super Bowl with a field goal, so he definitely has shown the skills to succeed in seemingly impossible plays.

The Cowboys picked Zuerlein up from the free-agent market in the offseason. Both parties agreed on a three-year, $7.5 million contract. This marked a continuation of Zuerlein's partnership with special teams coordinator John Fassell.

In his first season with the Cowboys, Zuerlein has been nothing but impressive. Apart from his successful 59-yard field goal, he also converted on a game-winner against the Atlanta Falcons on Sept. 20 — which was just his second game donning the Cowboys uniform.
