Bam Adebayo of the Miami Heat thought the quarter was over so he casually walked off with the ball in his hand. Little did he know that there were still a few ticks remaining and the referees still had their eyes draped all over him.

Per Bleacher Report, below is a clip of Adebayo getting called for a traveling violation after he thought that the quarter was over.

It's reminiscent of several NBA bloopers. Who could forget Russell Westbrook's epic traveling violation while calling out a play for the Oklahoma City Thunder? Or Lamar Odom dribbling the ball inbounds as if it was a practice session for the Los Angeles Lakers? You can add this blooper by Adebayo to the infamous lowlight reel.

Rockets fans may have laughed their wits off after the violation. But at the end of the game, Heat fans must have been relieved as their team got the win 101-99.

Adebayo himself tallied three points and nine rebounds in 23 minutes of play. But it was Josh Richardson who carried the team as he finished with 22 points, six rebounds, and seven assists. Heat legend Dwyane Wade had 10 points which included late-game free throws that gave the Heat a safe cushion. They have now won three in a row and will have a chance to extend their streak on Saturday when they host the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Rockets, for their part, failed to take advantage of another big night by James Harden who finished with 35 points and 12 assists. He was 6-of-14 from downtown and 15-of-18 from the free throw line. The loss snaps the Rockets' five-game winning streak. They'll have a chance to redeem themselves on Saturday when they go up against the San Antonio Spurs.
