Brooklyn Nets guard Jeremy Lin knows what being cool is all about. At least he believes he does, and he tries to teach a kid how to be cool.

Lin spoke at an event for a Chinese educational company named Boxfish. During a chat he spoke with a 13-year-old, Hanson, about how to be the coolest guy at school.

To demonstrate cool, Lin chose to show a montage of various hairstyles he had worn over the years, and asked the kid's opinion on them.

Hanson's response was “cool but a bit weird”. Lin wasn't expecting that answer, and thus another person roasting his hairstyles. He also brought up the name Flash, whom Lin referred to as the guy who eliminated him from the playoffs.

Lin concluded with giving Hanson advice about getting an education, having confidence, and being himself.
