It was a disappointing season for Wall and the Wizards. They missed the playoffs after seemingly being on the rise the passed few years. Wall had an excellent year individually however, averaging 19.9 points and 10.2 assists in just over 36 minutes.

Fortunately for Wall and Wizards' fans, the surgery went well and Wall is expected to return in time for the beginning of next season. If he truly has more potential to reach, the Wizards still have a promising team that have a strong chance to make a playoff run in the years to come.
