The Kansas Jayhawks football program will never be confused with one of the greats. It isn't exactly the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, even when Brian Kelly is up in South Bend belittling humans while losing games.

Oh. My. Dear. God.

What in the hell was that?

It appears, though maybe on purpose, that the Kansas offensive line decided blocking defenders is an optional task.

To be fair, it just does seem that they all went to cut some defensive lineman, but missed their mark. However, don't let that little factoid get in the way of some quality jokes.

The Jayhawks have a football program that is often on the wrong side of jokes. They are, essentially, the football program version of Lane Kiffin. This won't help their cause.

What is as hilarious in that clip as anything, is the “total rushing yards” stat-box in the lower right hand corner. In it, we see Ohio (just run of the mill Ohio) has 101 yards on the ground. As for our good old friends, the Kansas Jayhawks, the blue and white have a negative yard.

That's right. One yard … going backwards.

This is partially why college football is the best. We have ourselves a program from a power conference earning less yards on the ground against a small-time conference opponent. Hell, you and I — at least at the time of that graphic — actually have more yards on the ground against Ohio than Kansas.

Think on that for a minute. Let it sink on on your soul.
