Team USA played their second pool play game of the Rio Olympics on Monday, defeating Venezuela 139-69. Despite the lopsided final score, the American squad looked sloppy early, with Venezuela having a lead early in the second quarter after the first period ended in an 18-18 tie.
Shooting woes were part of the problem in the early going for Team USA, including from Klay Thompson.

While it’s unclear exactly what Thompson said after air balling that three-point attempt, some have suggested that he seems to say “F*** me, let’s go.”
Although Thompson ended the game with no points on 0-of-5 shooting, his new Warriors teammate Kevin Durant shot a perfect 5-for-5 from the field for 16 points. Paul George of the Pacers led all scorers with 20 points while Jimmy Butler of the Bulls added 17 of his own.
