Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig entered tonight’s game against the Oakland Athletics still without a home run this season. Puig’s former teammate and current Oakland A’s center fielder Trayce Thompson made sure – at least until the sixth inning of the game – that the Cuban will remain dinger-less when he robbed Puig a home run with a sensational catch in the bottom of the sixth frame.

Get a load of this:

Trayce’s brother, Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson was at home watching the ball game, and he went completely bonkers when he saw his younger sibling make a Bay Area highlight of his own.

Here’s Klay Thompson going nuts over his brother’s terrific defensive play in the outfield.

Yusmeiro Petit owes Trayce a steak.

Not many people know that Klay Thompson has a brother playing in Major League Baseball, but this highlight should help spread the word that there is more than one pro athlete in the Thompson family.

Although Trayce is younger, he actually turned professional before Klay did. Trayce was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in 2009 but only made his big-league debut in 2015 for the South Siders. He then played two seasons for the Los Angeles Dodgers before finding his way to the same city Klay is representing in the NBA.
