Allonzo Trier of the New York Knicks just let Zach LaVine of the Chicago Bulls know that he does not give up on the play.

Check out the clip below as LaVine was about to finish the fastbreak opportunity but then, the 22-year-old undrafted rookie Trier came out of nowhere to swat the layup:

In the young season, Trier has received tons of praise from teammates and even his foes. Some analysts even point out that he might be the biggest steal in the draft — and he wasn't even drafted. Through 10 games, he's logging in 10.6 points per game, 2.6 rebounds in 21.5 minutes of play.

In their win over the Dallas Mavericks, Allonzo Trier even scored a team-high 23 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the field and 6-of-7 from the free throw line. That game became proof that Trier could pretty much score on any defender if he wants to.

And with the defensive highlight above, it shows another dimension of the rookie. It's probably hard to appreciate his potential. Mainly because his team, early in the season, is already in the losing column. But as time progresses, the NBA will take notice of this undrafted kid, wondering why on earth did they miss such budding a talent.
