LeBron James has involved himself more in political issues in recent years and even created an organization called More Than A Vote in 2020. During the All-Star Game on Sunday night, More Than A Vote will be airing an ad narrated by James himself, per ESPN's Dave McMenamin.

Here's the ad:

The ad points out that tweeting out hashtags and taking part in social media trends aren't nearly enough when it comes to political issues. It also calls for people to begin fighting for what is right, which is something that James has preached in the past year.

The timing of James' commercial comes at a time when his decision to take a stand on political topics drew criticism from soccer Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Ibrahimovic commended James for his greatness on the court, only to then call him out for involving himself in political concerns.

James responded by sharing that he's not going to let anyone tell him not to utilize his platform for the right reasons. In the past year, James has been vocal about racial issues and political topics that some athletes are uncomfortable speaking about.

In the past year, James became one of the faces of the More Than A Vote organization that is tailored toward helping those who feel they don't have a voice. Ahead of the election in November, the organization paved the way for thousands of poll workers to help people vote.

Fast forward to now and LeBron James has bigger ideas for how the More Than A Vote organization can pave the way moving forward.
