People make some pretty interesting bets these days. And by interesting, I mean freaking bizarre.

Wanting to spice up his viewing experience for the Eastern Conference Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Toronto Raptors, Stashed creator and TV personality Kazeem Famuyide made a bet on his Twitter account that raised a lot of eyebrows.

At the time, Famuyide was confident that the Cavs would cruise to the NBA Finals, perhaps dropping one game in Toronto at the most.

“I thought they had the same chance that Yao Ming had of winning a three-point contest,” he said.

You know the rest of the story. The Raptors gutted out a tough Game 4 victory to even the series at two games apiece, bringing Famuyide's bet to fruition.

He kept his word and learned a very valuable lesson in the process.

“I know better than to bet against Toronto now,” Famuyide said. “They literally made me eat my words.”
