Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki on Friday met with one of his biggest fans. The 92-year-old venerable lady got to meet her favorite Mav. You can watch the video below.

Nowitzki has been non-committal with his plans of retiring after this season although Adam Silver and the rest of the NBA seems to think so. So far this year he's averaged 11 minutes per game along with 4.7 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 0.3 assists per game while shooting 35.5 percent from the field and 30.9 percent from beyond the arc.

The Mavs this season is on a rebuilding phase centered around their rookie star Luke Doncic. Doncic this season has been utterly ridiculous. He's able to create his shot with the best of them. His stepback jumper is utterly disgusting. His vision is like that of an elite point guard.

So far this season has averaged 20.7 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game while shooting 43.0 percent from the field and 34.8 percent from beyond the arc. His percentages will only improve with experience, and so will the volume of assists and scoring

The Mavs also acquired a star to place next to Doncic moving forward. They traded for Kristaps Porzingis from the New York Knicks for DeAndre Jordan, Dennis Smith Jr., and Wesley Matthews. This trade changed the dynamic of the team. For the Knicks, it sparked a rebuild and created cap room for two max free agents this upcoming offseason.

The Mavs are now 26-32 on the season and sitting 12th overall in the league. They will play next against the Utah Jazz.
