Duke superstar Zion Williamson won't be taking part in Saturday's dunk contest at All-Star weekend, but he gave fans a glimpse of the future while warming up for their game versus North Carolina State.

The NBA world will watch Atlanta Hawks big man John Collins, New York Knicks guard Dennis Smith Jr., Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges, and Oklahoma City Thunder guard Hamidou Diallo compete for this year's title of the league's best aerial artist.

Regardless, that certainly doesn't mean Zion Williamson failed to put on a show on Saturday. Before his team's game against North Carolina State at Cameron Indoor Stadium, the presumptive number one pick of the 2019 NBA draft showed his athleticism and how he can throw down the basketball.

Effortless. The scariest part? This isn't even close to one of the most impressive dunks Williamson has thrown down during his freshman season, whether in the pre-game layup line or otherwise.

Williamson, at 6-foot-7, 285 pounds, is unlike any athlete basketball has ever seen. He's averaging 22.0 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.0 blocks and 2.3 steals per game while shooting a ridiculous 68 percent from the floor for the second-ranked Blue Devils.

The numbers don't even tell the whole story of Williamson's supreme impact, either. He consistently affects the game at multiple levels on both sides of the ball, supplementing his otherworldly athletic gifts with a relentless motor and natural instincts.

See you in next year's dunk contest, Zion!
