Did New Orleans wide receiver Michael Thomas make flip phones cool again, while also sending young football fans into YouTube searching for the name of Joe Horn?

In the fourth quarter of Sunday’s meeting with the Los Angeles Rams at home, Thomas caught a pass from quarterback Drew Brees and turned on his boosters to leave Rams cornerback Marcus Peters behind and finish the play for a huge 72-yard touchdown score. That extended New Orleans’ lead to nine points with just under four minutes remaining in regulation and provided Thomas the perfect opportunity to pay homage to former Saints wide receiver Joe Horn by pulling out a hidden flip phone from the goal post.

Thomas was probably calling every expert and bettor who picked the Rams to win in the matchup to remind them what the score was.

The Saints would go on to finish the game on top, becoming the first team this season to beat the Rams with a statement 45-35 victory, thanks in large part to Thomas’ exploits. Thomas repeatedly burned Los Angeles’ defense, coming up with 211 receiving yards and a touchdown on 12 receptions and 15 targets.

Thomas’ uncle, former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson hopped in on the flip phone frenzy as well by posting this image on Twitter.

Have a night, Michael Thomas.
