It was easily the biggest win of the season for the Philadelphia 76ers.
After years of finishing with the worst or one of the worst records in the NBA, the Sixers finally won the NBA Draft lottery, giving them the first overall pick this year.
As the news broke, a large party of fans began celebrating like they'd won the championship. It was awesome to watch such a tortured fanbase of late experience so much joy.

In the aftermath, some fans saw this as validation for the “process” that former general manager Sam Hinkie put into place. Even after his de facto firing, Sixers supporters continue to show Hinkie their love.
