Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins's anti-vax stance has gotten him quite the attention. Now, it seems that a local hospital in Holland, Michigan has reportedly cut ties with their four-year-long partnership with Cousins as the 32-year-old continues to remain firm in not getting vaccinated.

The Holland Hospital, located in Cousins' hometown of Holland, Michigan, has officially distanced itself from the two-time Pro Bowler. In a statement made through a local radio station WHTC, the hospital is claiming that their stand about the virus simply doesn't align with Cousins's.

“As the trusted health care leader along the lakeshore, we are committed to providing accurate, timely health information and guidance based on guidelines from the CDC and medical experts,” the hospital said (via Yahoo Sports). “While we acknowledge that each person is entitled to their own viewpoints, those who speak on our behalf must support messages that align with the hospital’s position on matters of vital importance to individual and community health. For this reason, Holland Hospital will discontinue using Kirk Cousins as our spokesperson for now. We are proud of our association with Kirk. He embodies many values we respect and share as part of our work culture. However, we must be certain that our communications about COVID vaccination are consistent and unequivocal.”

Cousins, as well as fellow Vikings QBs Nate Stanley and rookie Kellen Mond, have already missed a week of training after testing positive for COVID-19. But, despite the continuous outbreak of the virus with new variants popping up here and there, it seems that nothing will stop Cousins from his very firm beliefs about getting vaccinated.
