Adam Thielen did his part for the Minnesota Vikings in a loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. Now his status for Week 12 could be in jeopardy. According to the team's official Twitter account, Thielen has been placed on the reserve COVID-19 list on Monday.

Similar to the other players in the league that have been placed on the reserve COVID-19 list, Thielen either tested positive or was in close contact with someone that did. The Vikings are not permitted to disclose whether he tested positive or in quarantine due to close contact.

Regardless of whether or not he tested positive, it will be worth monitoring his status ahead of Minnesota's matchup with the Carolina Panthers in Week 12. If he were to have tested positive, the veteran wideout will need to undergo multiple obstacles before returning to the team.

On the other hand, if he is just quarantining away from the team, he'll need to produce negative tests before returning. At the same time, if he were to test positive, then members of the Vikings and Cowboys may be at risk of joining him on the reserve list.

During Minnesota's tilt with Dallas on Sunday, Thielen put together his best performance of the season. Besides his remarkable one-handed grab for a touchdown, Thielen finished with eight receptions for 123 yards and two touchdowns.

The loss to the Cowboys in Week 11 definitely dampens the Vikings' hopes of making the playoffs this season. If Thielen is required to miss a game, then Minnesota's offense could take a massive hit in the passing attack.
