Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs were a dynamic duo for the Minnesota Vikings in recent years, but Diggs is no longer with the team. Nearly three weeks after the move was made, Thielen shared his reaction to the Diggs trade.

“Obviously, it’s a bummer that he’s not here because it was such a fun duo to be able to work off one another and things like that, whether it be practice or games,” Thielen said on KFAN, via the Pioneer Press. “So, I’m definitely going to miss that, but it will be fun to see him have success somewhere else.”

Since early in the 2019 season, Diggs was beginning to grow unsettled with his role in Minnesota's offense. As a matter of fact, it got to the point where it was expected that Diggs would be traded. On the contrary, the Vikings held onto the disgruntled wideout for the rest of the 2019 season.

But early in free agency, the Vikings obviously began listening to offers for Diggs. After considering their options, Minnesota agreed to a trade with the Buffalo Bills in exchange for a bevy of draft picks. Altogether, the Vikings landed four draft picks — including a first-rounder — from the Bills.

As for Thielen and Diggs, they've led the way in Minnesota's passing attack together since 2016. Most fans of the NFL considered Thielen and Diggs to be one of the best wide receiver duos in the league. Even though they won't be playing together in 2020, it's safe to say they'll be rooting for each other to succeed.
