Just four weeks into the NFL season, the wide receivers for the Minnesota Vikings have grown tireless with how the offense has played. Adam Thielen believes that the media is to blame for the frustration rumors with the wide receivers on the team.

This statement by Thielen is a questionable one for multiple reasons. Especially considering he is among the wide receivers who expressed his disgust with the passing offense following Week 4's game against the Chicago Bears. In addition, Stefon Diggs has missed the entire week of practice until Thursday.

Along with that, Stefon Diggs admitted that he is frustrated with his role during Thursday's practice.

Plus, Diggs didn't exactly shut down the rumors that involved him being traded. With that in mind, it seems as if the wide receivers were frustrated well before the media began making it a talking point. And deservedly so.

Last season, Thielen and Diggs combined for 215 receptions, 2,394, and 18 touchdowns. Now, with the offense being run-oriented and Kirk Cousins playing horribly; the production from both receivers has drastically fallen this season.

Altogether, the talented wide receiver duo of the Vikings has just 26 catches for 388 yards and three touchdowns in 2019. With nearly $220 million committed to Cousins, Thielen, and Diggs, Minnesota currently has the 31st ranked passing offense in the NFL.

At the same time, Dalvin Cook leads the NFL in rushing yards in the first month of the season. Luckily for the Vikings, they face a New York Giants defense that has been susceptible to the pass.

If Cousins can't succeed on Sunday, then the frustration will continue to escalate in the locker room.
