Minnesota Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr understands that there is a good chance he could hit free agency this March, and right now, he doesn't really have a plan of action as to how he will handle it:

“I’m not sure there really is a plan,” Barr said during Pro Bowl practice, according to Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com. “I think it kind of dictates itself. I’ve done what I’ve done and what’s going to happen is kind of out of my control. Obviously I’ll have a choice, hopefully, as to where I want to go but I can’t control much more than what I’m doing now.”

Barr is coming off of a 2018 campaign in which he registered 55 tackles, three sacks and a forced fumble en route to his fourth straight Pro Bowl appearance.

The 26-year-old wants to stay in Minnesota, but he also understands that the business side of the game by result in him and the Vikings parting ways:

“I’ve been thinking about it,” he said. “It’s been a whole year, two years really, coming, so – my contract was up last year, had the option, and this year now it’s really up so the possibilities I feel like are endless and I could be anywhere. I want to be back, like I’ve said throughout the last year, but like I’ve been saying also I know my worth and I know what I've got to do I’ve got to do it for me.”

Barr, who played his collegiate football at UCLA, was originally selected by the Vikings with the ninth overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft.
