The Minnesota Vikings have hit their stride over the last several weeks, winning five straight games to push them atop of the NFC North.

During that process, veteran quarterback Case Keenum has grabbed a firm hold of the starting job, helping lead the Vikings with his arm. However, the recent return of Teddy Bridgewater off IR has brought up questions about how much more longer he will remain as the starter.

In a recent interview with the Dan Patrick Show, he voiced that he believes he will be the starter this Sunday against his former team, Los Angeles Rams. (h/t Pro Football Talk)

“In my own head, I for sure am. That’s how I’ve approached it, that’s how I’ve answered it. I don’t know how else to answer it. That’s how I have to approach every week,” Keenum said.

Keenum is coming off a strong outing in the 38-30 win over the Washington Redskins, throwing for 304 passing yards on 21-of-29 completed passes with four touchdowns. In total, he has recorded 1,914 yards on 64.9 completion rate with 11 touchdown passes and a 92.6 quarterback rating.

However, Bridgewater has always been the long-term play, even when Sam Bradford was the starter last season and to start this year. With him back healthy, it's only a matter of time before he gets back on the field.
