Former Pro Bowl cornerback De'Angelo Hall went up against his fair share of notable receivers during his time. There seems to be no question about where Hall of Fame wideout Randy Moss ranks among them.

Hall recently compiled his list of the top 5 most difficult receivers he ever defended. He recalled the true challenge that Moss posed during an appearance on ‘Good Morning Football.'

“I came out of college running a 4.2,” Hall said. “And this dude right here ran right past me. . . Coach told me, when Randy put his hand up, the ball is coming. And I told coach I didn’t know what to expect. I wasn’t expecting him to be that fast.”

Hall's comments are indicative of the freakish athleticism that Moss boasted during his time in the league. Not only was he capable of torching even the fastest NFL cornerbacks, but his ability to jump over them for the catch once they got there ultimately coined the term after his namesake.

Moss was certainly joined by some elite company on Hall's list. Checking in behind him was none other that Hall of Fame wide receivers Terrell Owns and Marvin Harrison. Rounding the final two spots were a couple of future Hall of Famers as well in Larry Fitzgerald and Steve Smith.

Regardless, it is evident that none of them posed the kind of danger Moss did every time he stepped on the field. Although Jerry Rice may be widely considered as the greatest receiver of all time, it is safe to say that a case can certainly be made for both players.
