Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey made headlines with his recent tirade against nearly every starting quarterback in the NFL. Needless to say, Ramsey was not shy about expressing his true feelings regarding his opponents.

One player that was surprisingly spared from his criticisms was Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins. Ramsey actually had high praise for Cousins in his interview with GQ:

“I think he's good. I think he's a winner. He's a hell of a competitor. Coming off the play action, he's the best quarterback in the league. Play action passing, he's a hell of a quarterback,” Ramsey said. “Derek Carr, I think he's good. Eli [Manning]… It's not really Eli. I think it's Odell [Beckham, Jr.]. I won't say Eli's good, I'll say Odell's good. And their connection is good. I think Russell [Wilson] is good. I think he's just a really good leader too. Big Ben [Roethlisberger], I think he's decent at best… It's not Big Ben, it's [Antonio Brown]. Big Ben slings the ball a lot of the time. He just slings it, and his receivers go get it. He has a strong arm, but he ain't all that. I played him twice last year, and he really disappointed me. He'll be in the Hall of Fame and all that.”

It goes without saying that Ramsey spares no remorse when it comes to giving his opinion. Based on the pattern of compliments and insults, it is clear that he has no love for some of the veteran quarterbacks in the league. This should come as no surprise given his tirade against Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green last season. That said, it is safe to assume Ramsey was sincere in his compliments towards Cousins.

There are many who share the same opinion. Cousins was the biggest free agent on the market this offseason, as his availability drew some of the most lucrative offers in NFL history. Even players got in on the recruiting process by making their pitches throughout the offseason. However, it was the Vikings that ultimately wound up landing his services.

Cousins' arrival has given this team a Super Bowl or bust mentality. Judging by Ramsey's comments, the expectations in Minnesota are well-warranted.
